2026 Tournament Of Whampions Rules
All play is governed by USGA rules. If you are unsure of a particular rule, play a provisional ball and consult with the committee after the round. All decisions by the committee are FINAL!
ANY lost ball will be played as a lateral hazard situation and the next shot is played from where the ball was last seen or lost, WITH the appropriate penalty applied.
All play will be from the Designated Tees. In addition, please remember the following: USGA rules DO affect certain clubs. All clubs must conform to USGA rules
The 14 club rule is in effect. Range Finders are acceptable.
No relief from flower beds, rock lined structures, etc. Play the ball "as it lies" to the Green. If your ball is unplayable, drop and take the appropriate penalty.
If you pick up your ball to identify it, you must DROP the ball in the same spot it was removed from. Do not place the ball.
All putts must be holed.
You and only you are responsible for the accuracy of your score card. Check it!!!
Please score using the Whampions scoring system, i.e. bogey - 1 pt., par - 2 pts., birdie - 4 pts., eagle- 8 pts. Once you have reached double bogey, PICK IT UP. Help speed up play.
Immediately after the round on Saturday and Sunday, bring your score card to the clubhouse, quickly!
We would ask all competitors to be aware of any rule infraction they might observe. If observed, make your fellow suspected competitor aware of it and report it to the Rules Committee after the round. The proper inquest will then be convened. Remember, it is not only your obligation, but also your duty to your fellow Whampions to report any infractions.
Regarding Sunday's round, your score cards and tee assignments will be available in front of the clubhouse Sunday morning. If you should miss your tee time Sunday, you may elect to withdraw, or join your group in progress, taking a "0" for each hole you have missed.
Good luck to all!
